Summer Series 2023

The design of the Summer Series was a therapeutic way to express familial disputes. Pre-sketched concepts all reflected a strong difference between two 'sides', thoughts, and views. Over the course of the construction and creation process I was able to come to a type of an eventuality and acceptance.
The Series is heavily constructed around differences and contradictory elements created with slabs and the wheel. Most designs are glazed with typical opposites in black and white. The concepts have stayed true the initial designs and interpretations are as evident as I feel the issues are.
